What does “ranking first on Google” mean?
Every time someone types something into Google — “dentist in Milan,” “how to fix a water leak,” “marketing agency in Venice” — the search engine displays a list of results. The first three or four, labeled “Sponsored,” are paid ads. All the others, starting from the fourth result down, are organic results: websites that Google has chosen to display because it considers them relevant and trustworthy for that search.
Ranking first on Google organically means appearing in these results without paying for each click. It takes time, but once you achieve it, it brings in visitors consistently — day after day, even while you sleep.
